Peer Review Process
Anubodhan accepts submissions that present new discoveries and innovative developments in related fields. Contributions may be submitted in the form of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, mini reviews, commentaries, perspectives, opinions, editorials, editor’s notes, and image-based articles.
This is an open-access journal, meaning all published articles are freely available online without subscription or access barriers to researchers worldwide.
Overview of the Peer Review Process
- Submission of Manuscript
Authors must submit manuscripts through the e-mail or the journal’s online submission system. Submissions must comply with the journal’s formatting, structural, and ethical guidelines.
- Initial Editorial Assessment
The editorial team conducts a preliminary review to assess the manuscript’s suitability. This includes evaluating the originality, relevance, adherence to guidelines, and overall quality. Manuscripts that do not meet basic criteria or fall outside the scope of the journal may be rejected without external peer review.
- Selection of Reviewers
If the manuscript passes the initial assessment, it is assigned to at least one independent reviewer who is are expert in the relevant field. Reviewers are selected to ensure there are no conflicts of interest with the authors.
- Peer Review
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on the following criteria:
- Scientific validity and methodology
- Novelty and significance of findings
- Clarity and organization
- Compliance with ethical standards
They provide constructive, unbiased feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Editorial Decision
After reviewing the reviewers’ comments, the editorial team decides on one of the following outcomes:
- Accept – The manuscript is accepted with no or minor revisions
- Revise and Resubmit – Revisions are requested before further consideration
- Reject – The manuscript is not suitable for publication in the journal
- Revisions
When revisions are requested, authors are provided a specific deadline to address the reviewers’ comments and resubmit their manuscript. Revised manuscripts may undergo further peer review, either by the original reviewers or new experts, depending on the extent of changes.
- Final Decision
The editorial team reviews the final version of the manuscript. If it meets all journal standards, it is accepted for publication.
- Publication
Accepted articles are processed and published online as open access, ensuring maximum visibility and accessibility. Each published article will be assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for referencing and indexing.
