Instructions For Authors

 The editors invite original, scholarly articles and research papers within the broad field of Arts, Humanities, social sciences and science for publication in ANUBODHAN: A Multidisciplinary & Multilingual (Peer Reviewed Research Journal), that have not been published previously or submitted elsewhere, and that are not under review for another publication in any medium (e.g., print or electronic) should be submitted to the Editor.

      All submissions should preferably be sent through Email <anubodhan.srf@gmail.com> along with docx attachment. The author should obtain copyright clearance for materials used in the article. It will be assumed that submission of an article to this journal implies that all the foregoing conditions are applicable.

Review Process: All contributions submitted will be subjected to peer review and published as per the policy of plagiarism of UGC/MHRD, Government of India. Papers are processed through a blind referral system by experts in the subject to ensure anonymity, the writer’s name, designation and other details should appear only on the first page along with the title of the paper and should not be repeated anywhere else. To allow anonymous refereeing, please submit author(s) identification, affiliation, etc. in a separate page (not in the main text of the article).

The decision to publish the paper will exclusively be of the Editorial Board. The papers may be sent back to the author for incorporating changes as suggested and for proof reading. However, the Editorial Board reserves the right to incorporate minor changes including the format and presentation of the manuscript.

Format: Papers (4000-6000 words normally, 6500-8000 words in exceptional cases), short communications (1500-3000 words) on new ideas/new areas of work/innovations/action research/ongoing investigations/conference and seminar and workshop outcomes, and book reviews (800-1500 words).

Organisation: The general organisation of research papers should be as follows: The nature and scope of the study should be stated first, then the details of methods, materials, tools, procedures and/or equipment’s used: followed by findings, discussion, and conclusion. Appendices may be used to amplify details where appropriate. Scholarly papers should have an abstract of not more than 300 words along with 3-5 Keywords.

     To the extent possible, tables and illustrations should appear in the document near/after where they are referenced in the text. Avoid the use of overly small type in tables. In no case should tables or figures be in separate document or file. Tables must be numbered consecutively and must have a brief title.

Reference Style: References should be strictly in APA Style. Some examples of various types of documents are given below:

Contributors/author are advised to submit article (s) only in soft copy (DOCX FORMAT) strictly in the format as suggested in ‘Author Guidelines’ along with Plagiarism Report by authorized software (such as URKUND and Turnitin) on the E-mail: anubodhan.srf@gmail.com

Note:

  • Some help can be taken from AI (ChatGPT) in writing a research paper, but the paper should not be completely written by AI.
  • Use headings as needed in the manuscript.
  • Do not use too many sub-headings.
  • Please do not write the paper in points like notes.

General Formatting:

  1. Font Size and Style:
  • Article Title: The title of the article should be in font size 16 in English, 14 (Kruti Dev 010), 12 (Unicode) in Hindi .
  • Heading: All headings and sub-headings should be formatted in bold, with a font size of 12 in English, 14 (Kruti Dev 010), 12 (Unicode) Hindi, and in title case. Capitalize the first letter of each major word in headings.
  • Main Text: The font size for the entire paper, excluding the title, is 12 in English, 14 (Kruti Dev 010), 12 (Unicode) in Hindi.
  • Font Type: Use Times New Roman in English and in English, 14 (Kruti Dev 010), 12 (Unicode) in Hindi for the entire manuscript.
  • Page Size: Keep the page size as A4.
  • Margins: Set page margins to 1 inch on all sides.

  • Title of the Paper:

  • Abstract: The abstract should be no more than 200-250  words and must clearly summarize the main points of your research paper.
  • Keywords: Provide 4-6 keywords that best represent the main themes of your paper. The keywords should be listed in lowercase and should appear immediately after the abstract.
  • Introduction: Introduce the research topic, its significance, and the problem or question being addressed. Provide background context, state the objectives, and outline the paper’s structure. Keep it engaging and relevant, typically 1-2 pages.
  • Main Body: Organize into logical sections with clear headings (e.g., Literature Review, Methodology, Results, Discussion).
  • Conclusion: Summarize key findings, restate the significance of the research, and suggest implications or future research directions.
  • References: List all sources cited in the paper, formatted according to the required style (e.g., APA, MLA, Chicago). Ensure accuracy and consistency. Example (APA):

  • Manuscripts must be submitted in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.
  1. Word Count:
  • The manuscript must contain between 2000 to 6000 words. The word count includes the abstract, keywords, and the main content of the paper.
  1. Font for Hindi Authors:
  • Hindi authors are requested to submit their research papers in Unicode or Kruti Dev 010 only.
  1. Plagiarism Check:
  • All submitted manuscripts should be checked for plagiarism. Papers with a high similarity percentage (above 10%) may be rejected.
